Keeping Electorate Informed

• The AAUW Chippewa Falls Branch has cooperated with the Chippewa Herald in hosting a candidates forum shortly before the fall primary election. All candidates for partisan offices at the local, state, and national level are invited to participate and present their case for election to the public.
• This forum is normally held at the Heyde Center for the Arts, which allows for a number of citizens to attend and learn about the positions of candidates. Hopefully this educational opportunity will result in a better informed electorate and thus a better government.
